Vocabulary: chair, table, lunchbox, bathroom, paint, pencil, scissors, crayons, glue, marker, folder, bell, pencilbox, clock.

Character Education: Responsibility. Our goal is: "I help during clean-up time."

Important information:

* This Friday is Colors Day, the cost is Lps.5.
* Show and Tell is every Tuesday.

August 16-20

Dear Parents:
 This week we will cover the following:

Theme: My School and Manners

Concepts and skills: Classroom routines

Vocabulary: chair, table, lunchbox, bathroom, paint, pencil, scissors, crayon, glue, marker, folder, homework,bell, pencilbox, clock.

Character Education: Responsibility. Our goal is :
 " I help during clean-up time."

Important Information:
*Please fill and return the Student Information Sheet, Pre-School Handbook Letter to Parents, and White Card as soon as possible if you have not done so.

*Our Open House is this Thursday August 18. There will be a presentation at 4:00p.m. sharp, we hope to see all of you then.

* Since this is a special time between parents and teachers, we ask that you please leave your children at home. There will be no supervision in the Pre-School building.

* Don't forget to apply insect repellent to your child before coming to school.

* School supervision begins at 7:10 a.m., there is no supervision before 7:10 a.m.

August 11-13

Dear Parents:

Welcome back to a new school year! Your child is about to embark on an exciting adventure and you can come along! Every week you will find important information posted on this site regarding the content to cover as well as any special activity or event to take place. It is very important that you visit this site every Monday to be informed of the activities and what your child is learning in school.

We are looking forward to a fun year filled with lots of learning. In order to achieve all our goals for this year, the school and the home must become one. We all have the child's best interest at heart.

Important Information:

*School begins at 7:30, for Pre-Kinder students and it ends at 10:45. Please be prompt when picking up your child after school. Whenever there is a change regarding transportation or the person responsible for picking up your child, it has to be notified in writing before hand. No verbal or telephone messages will be accepted.

*Each Pre-Kinder class will receive P.E. twice a week:

PK-A Wednesday and Friday


PK-B Tuesday and Thursday


PK-C Monday and Friday

*Show and Tell: This activity takes place every Tuesday of the school year. Children bring to school an object related to the letter we are studying that week.

*Homework folders will be sent home every Wednesday. Please return the folder on Thursday with the completed homework. TODAY YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR CHILD'S FOLDER. INSIDE YOU WILL FIND THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

*You will find the Pre-School Handbook Letter to Parents, a loose sheet, that requires parents to sign and return once you have read the Pre-School Handbook. You can access the Pre-School Handbook through the school's webpage. Return this sheet to school tomorrow (THURSDAY, AUGUST 11TH).

*"Student Information Sheet" and a White Card which require you to fill in all the important information regarding your child. These are to be returned to school, promptly, on THURSDAY, AUGUST 11TH.

*****THESE THREE(3) DOCUMENTS (Pre-School Handbook Letter to Parents, Student Information Sheet, and White Card) MUST BE RETURNED ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 11TH IN THE FOLDER.

*All students are required to wear their complete school uniform everyday.(See handbook.)

*Label everything your child brings to school, with his or her name. (sweaters,lunchboxes, show-and-tell objects, etc.)

*When packing your child's lunchbox keep in mind to pack healthy snacks. Candy, sodas, and baby bottles are not allowed.

*If you have any concerns or special recommendations for your son/daughter, please stop by the school or send a note with your child to set up an appointment.

Concepts and skills: Classroom Routines

Character Education: This month we will be learning about Responsibility. Our goal for these weeks is:" I help during clean-up time."
