Vocabulary: pancakes, juice, apples, bananas, carrots, bread, milk, sandwich, meat, cereal, fruit, vegetables, breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Character Education: Gratitude. Our goal is: "I am thankful for the food I eat."

* Sign and return report cards back to school.

Dear Parents:

This year the school will renew the publication of newsletters, magazines, and will increase the amount of information presented on the school’s Web Page. Many of the pictures might include your children.

For example, our parent, Mr. Mark Wright currently donated a series of professional photographs he has taken over the school year of our campus, which includes students. However, we do not want to publish them in our Web’s home page without having our parents’ consent. PICTURES will NOT include students’ names.

Please print and complete this form if you do not want your child’s picture to be posted on any school publication. The form must be returned to your area Principal’s Secretary no later than Friday October 22nd, 2010.

Concepts and skills: Number 6, up/down and on/off. We are now practicing copying our first names, please refer to the D'nealian handwriting model when practicing with your child at home.

Vocabulary: jacket, swimsuit, sandals, underwear, shorts, boots, pants, shirt, pajama, sweater, belt, cap, socks, dress, shoes.

Character Education: Respect. Our goal is:"I treat my friends kindly."

Important Information:

* You are all invited to our Halloween Costume Parade this Friday at 10:15 a.m. Please go straight to the court and don't forget your cameras!!!!

* Parent-Teacher Conferences are next Monday, November 1st. There will be no school for Pre-kinder students on November 1st. Sign Up sheets will posted on Wednesday, October 27. Please stop by to sign up for the conference.

* This Friday is colors day, the cost is Lps.5.

* Next Monday, October 25th is a Holiday.

*Your voluntary contribution to raise funds for our school mascot, may still be sent to your homeroom teacher.

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to welcome Michelle Simon, our Speech teacher, back from maternity leave and to announce that the Speech and Hearing Services program is back up and running. Speech and language stimulation/therapy classes will be offered during school hours starting in November. Referral information can be found at www.astspeechandhearing.wikispaces.com.
